From Minneapolis to Miami; Coolibar Finalizes Corporate Headquarters Move

Launches new South Florida-Inspired Summer Sun-Protective Clothing Collection

MIAMI, Florida, July 2, 2024 -- Coolibar, Inc., the world leader in UPF50+ sun-protective clothing, announced today it has finalized the relocation of its corporate headquarters to a new office in Miami, Florida from its downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota location. Coolibar, Inc. which includes affiliate brands Mott50 and Suntect, now occupies the entire 3rd floor of the Wynwood Annex Building at 215 NW 24th Street in Miami.

"After two decades of building our brand in Minneapolis, we're excited about this geographical move. Being in the Sunshine State allows us to design and, more importantly, test the products year-round that our customers count on to protect them from 98% of harmful UVA/UVB rays in the environments they use them," said Sebastian Ozanne, Chief Brand Officer. "Being in a fashion hub like Miami provides the foundation for a new corporate chapter that helps our product design teams stay abreast of the latest trends and create innovative designs, technology-centered apparel, and accessories to help our customers stay sun safe."

To celebrate the move to Miami's Wynwood Arts District, Coolibar has released its newest summer product lines, inspired by their new home in South Florida, which include resort wear, swim, travel, golf, everyday wear, fishing & boating, and yoga, as well as hats, full coverage accessories and umbrellas. The brand manufactures more than 1 million pieces per year for customers across 200+ countries.

Coolibar was the first UPF50+ clothing and apparel company to receive the Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation. Since its inception, Coolibar teams have developed the most rigorously tested UPF50+ fabrics in the sun-protective clothing industry. Every product, in every color and pattern, is rigorously 3rd-party tested with the highest global standards to assure compliance with ASTM/AATCC criteria and guaranteed UPF 50+ for the garment's lifetime.

"Relocating to this new space reinforces the excellence of our products, people, and potential," added Ozanne. "It positions us to consistently deliver the highest quality sun protection products to our customers."

Coolibar continues to maintain its existing offices and manufacturing facilities in India and Thailand.
