"Walking in AZ, even at 6:30am, the sun is still stong. Using this umbrella is exactly what I need. I love the size and the features, like auto open. That said, it's fairly heavy which prob helps its durability. I'm happy with my purchase and love the light color."

"I live in Arizona and work at a university so have to park far from my office. This thing has been a lifesaver. In triple digit heat, every bit of shade makes a difference. Also hate wearing sunscreen so this covers that problem. It’s pretty strong and withstands the wind. Very happy"

"I shopped around alot before I bought this & found that this was the one I wanted & the memorial day sale clinched it. It IS on the heavy side, but I wanted one that had a longer handle so I didn't end up getting a kink in my shoulder from having my arm raised for the duration of my 45 min daily walk. The California sun does make the outer "fabric" very hot & I wonder if it will soft & loose it's shape. It does block the sun better than a normal black umbrella (tried that !) I particularly wanted an umbrella that allowed for airflow, & though this does have the capability, I'm not really sure yet if it's a reality. So far I have used it on somewhat still days, so haven't tested it with a breeze. That said, on a day without a breeze I feel as it it traps the heat under the canopy, but granted that IS better than the sun beating down directly on my head & Body, (even wearing a straw hat. ) I like the carry case as i use the umbrella to walk to a park that's shaded & then fold it up & carry it while in the park. I Do wish the strap was a bit wider (for comfort). I have no intention of using this in rain, so I can't/won't be able to comment on it's use in that way. The handle is a good texture & doesn't get slippery when your hands are sweaty. over all, this so far performs exactly how I had hoped it would."
