"I bought a pair of XS Fuji gloves to see how they compare to the Sawyer and Gannett gloves. I don’t find the “touchscreen-compatible” fingertips of the Gannett gloves to be functional because their bulkiness routinely leads to them tapping touchscreens about 0. 3cm above where I’m actually aiming, which is why I default to the Sawyer gloves (which do not have this problem with precision of aim but can be hit or miss when it comes to touchscreens registering each touch/tap). Hence, the intrigue of these Fuji gloves. Off the bat, I was concerned from photos that the seam across the palm would be uncomfortable, and I was right. They just arrived, and I felt the discomfort of that seam immediately upon trying them on. No doubt wearing these during any activity requiring manual dexterity would lead to chafing. The “fingertip access” design is functional though. I don’t see why Coolibar doesn’t make the palm sides of the Fuji the exact same way both the Sawyer and Gannett are made (except with the Fuji’s signature folds for fingertip access in place of the bulkier “touchscreen-compatible” material used in the fingertips of the Gannett gloves). If Coolibar redesigned these Fuji gloves without the unnecessary seam across the palm, I’d replace my dozen-ish Sawyer gloves with these Fuji gloves. As it stands, I’m sticking to my tried and true Sawyers for daily use."
