Buying another pair!

"I bought these pants for a trip to Greece. I want to be able to handwash them in the hotel sink. They look so good, feel so comfortable and are so lightweight that I'm buying another pair in a different color for the trip!"

not black but charcoal; weird styling

"Nothing like they appear in the photo- charcoal gray, not black; it bunches in an unflattering way below the elastic waist and the legs are much fuller than expected. Very lightweight fabric. The hard little RFID zipper pocket on the thigh is in a strange place and not useful. Likely to hurt if you try to curl up in an airplane seat."

Handwash?

"I just received these pants and I love the fit and feel, and how little space they will take in my suitcase. However, there was nothing on the website in the description about these requiring hand washing and line drying. I don’t mind the line drying, but hand washing was an unpleasant surprise. So many people love these pants - can you tell me if you are all hand washing, or is machine washing on delicate safe? Thanks!"

Smooth

"Feels smooth, fits larger than expected. Too much trouble to return & exchange"

Virginia R. (5/5)

Terrible Wrinkles

"These pants are unwearable due to set in wrinkles that have not come out with washing or ironing. Company won't accept my return since they were laundered! Do not buy these pants!"

Work well when out & about

"These are made of that very thin umbrella-like fabric, so I’ve been wearing these out in the heat with no issue - lots of good breathability. I got the light blue which does show every wrinkle from the pockets and underwear line; I’m assuming the black would hide that better. These feel a bit more elevated than leggings for every day wear, and I’ve just been pairing them with longer tshirts - the elastic sits a bit higher, and kind of emphasizes my pooch, so I haven’t been pairing it with cropped shirts. Would buy again!"

Ladies- these are handwash only so beware

"The pants are fine, if you don't mind having to handwash things. I'm just leaving this review to hopefully prevent my mistake for other people. At the time of purchase (July 2026), there is nowhere on the description about care instructions that these need to be handwashed, even when you click for "more information". I sent the support@ email two separate emails about this over a 14 day period and didn't hear back (not even an auto-email letting me know an expected timeframe for a reply). I finally called the support number because I didn't want to miss my return window and waited 20 minutes to talk to someone. I learned that, even though Coolibar had not provided adequate information for me to make an informed decision about my purchase of these pants (having care instructions seems pretty important), they would not consider waiving having me pay the return fee. I was disappointed with the long delays in customer service and the fact that they wouldn't consider taking any responsibility for the lack of information on the care needs of the item. Will be my last purchase with this company."

The color

"The color is not pink but beige and I have alteady boutgh it last year."

ANNICK L. (4/5)

question re “hand wash”

"is it possible to put pants in a mesh laundry bag for washing in washer on gentle cycle"

Nice pants. Could use belt loops

"I have ordered these pants a few times. I love the lightweight material. The sizing can be a little inconsistent from pair to pair over time. The elastic wears out. They would be better with belt loops."
